In February 22, I was involved in a project with LCC 3D Animation, where I was responsible for optimising their model effects as art director and applying the optimisation to the overall animation.
This animation is a cartoon style piece, so I chose to optimise it on the original cartoon material sphere and to optimise the textures in Substance Painter.
Firstly, for the material optimisation, I added an edge light and completed the Colour dichroic of the body.
I then used the lights in the filter as masks in the Substance Painter to optimise the light, dark, reflections and colour changes in the base colour.
